Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Set the oven rack to the lower third of the oven. Rinse the salmon with water, pat it dry and season with salt and pepper on both sides
In a non-stick skillet or cast iron pan melt butter in a skillet and sear the salmon on both sides for 3 minutes.
Prepare the sauce by combining the broth, shallots, lemon juice, garlic, red pepper chili flakes and Cayenne Peppe in a small bowl and set it aside. Once the salmon is seared set it aside on a plate.
Lower the flame to medium and add the broth to the skillet. Scrape the bottom of the pan with a whisk to incorporate the salmon bits into the sauce.
Continue to cook the sauce until it reduces to 1/3 of the original amount. Remove the sauce from the heat and whisk in the butter and yogurt.
Bake The Salmon. Place Salmon back in the pan with the sauce. Cover with a lid and put in the oven until it is cooked through (20 minutes).–
