Vegan  Red Pepper Sauce

This thick and flavorful sauce is plant based and simple to make!  Keep it in the fridge to use on any number of quick plant-based meals.

You can use this roasted red pepper sauce in pasta dishes and more! It's easy to make with only 9 ingredients. Make it ahead on the weekend for quick weeknight family meals!

01 1 Onion chopped

02 4 Cloves Garlic

03 1 pinch Red Pepper Chili Flakes

05 2 cans of Fire Roasted Tomatoes

06  1/4 C Fresh Parsley

04 4 Roasted Red Peppers  

07 1 pinch Red Pepper Chili Flakes

09 – 1/2 tsp sea salt optional

08 1 T Fresh Oregano chopped

 Heat oil in a large soup pot. Add onions and sea salt. Saute until translucent.Add garlic and chili pepper flakes. Cook for one minute. Add roasted red peppers and tomatoes.

–  Raise heat to high to bring the sauce to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and let the sauce simmer for 30 minutes, partially covered.

 Place sauce with herbs in food proccesor. Blend until desired consistency is reached. Place back in the pot to reheat. Enjoy!
