These are the tastiest roasted peppers and onions you'll ever make. Instead of baking them all together the onions are caramelized to perfection then tossed with fire roasted bell peppers and a light herbal Italian dressing.
Turn on the broiler. Broil the peppers for 5 minutes on each side until they are black. Once blackened place the peppers inside a bowl covered with paper towels for 10 minutes.
While the peppers are steaming. Heat oil in a pan slice the onions into thin strips and saute them over medium heat until they’re caramelized (20 minutes)
Rub the pepper skins with paper towels to remove them. Slice the peppers into thin strips and combine them with the olive oil, garlic, caramelized onions and Italian seasoning. Enjoy.
