In a small sauce pan combine pitted cherries and sugar. Cook over medium low heat for 8 minutes or until the cherries are soft and the sugar is melted. Transfer to a food processor and combine until semi smooth jelly forms.
Pour the mixture into a heat safe jar and mix with 1 tbsp ager ager powder. Place in the fridge to cool.
Instructions for Whipped Cream
Combine heavy whipping cream and vanilla in a bowl. Mix with a standing mixer until stiff peaks form (5 minutes).
Instructions to Assemble Cherry Tiramisu Dessert Cups
Break the lady fingers into thirds. Soak them in the coffee for one second and then place at the bottom of the jar. Layer each jar with a scoop of cherry filling, followed by whip cream and the grated chocolate. Add another layer of cherry filling and whipped cream. Garnish with extra cherry drizzle, grated chocolate and a fresh cherry.
Notes
If you use mason jars with a screwable lid you can place them on top for later serving. Perfect for meal prep.
